Protect and Shield Life insurance is owned and operated by Alexander Vincent Kemper. Alexander means “Protector of Mankind”. Vincent is taken from my Grandfather, a WWII veteran who was flying over the Pacific theater at 17. After the war, he wore many different hats. His most prominent was a life insurance agent. Back in those days, you had to go door-to-door weekly, collecting all your clients' premiums. He always said that was the best part of the job, many of them were almost like family, inviting him in when he would come by. His warm demeanor and caring smile helped his clients know they were in the right and capable hands. 

My mother also is a life insurance agent, modeling herself right after her father Vincent. 

I look back on the two generations before me, how they protected families and made sure that they were well taken care of. My goal is to protect Central Floridian’s and their families to the same high standard my Mother and Grandfather protected their communities. 

I named my Agency “Protect and Shield” to help people understand exactly what my goal is. It isn’t to just “sell” you a policy. It is to make sure we take into account every facet of your life, to help me understand exactly your families needs, and find the best policy for any budget. 

I went to school at Seminole State College. Before transferring to UCF, Covid stopped classes, eventually returning to virtual. By then I already had my insurance license and was helping people find quality health insurance and Medicare. I realized I could make an even bigger impact on my community after helping a client get a small life insurance policy through another agent. Right after she left our office to go pick up her children, she got into a major car accident due to a red light runner. She called me immediately after expressing her sincerest thanks. If she had been any faster turning that corner, she would haven’t been able to pick up her children. That helped me understand my calling to ensure every family has the opportunity to have that same protection. Her husband and children wouldn’t have been able to keep affording their home if that accident had gone wrong and she didn’t have that policy.
